October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in support I am highlighting my favorite pink products.
- Stryko Boxing Gloves
Feel like kicking some butt and getting in great shape for the holidays? Get yourself some pink Stryko boxing gloves and a membership to a boxing gym or martial arts studio. Nothing torches calories faster than a high intensity boxing or martial arts workout. Because of it’s innate HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style workout, it helps spike your heart rate in intervals creating a fat burning effect that lasts for hours after your workout ends.

- Adidas Athletic Pants
Now you’re going to need some new threads to go along with your new workouts! I am loving these funky print tights by Adidas! Say goodbye to basic black, fun print pants are officially IN! - Dick's Sporting Goods
If you’d like more choice when it comes to your active wear, you can head to Dick’s Sporting Goods and choose from any of their active wear products and you will be happily contributing to this cause. Once a year I like to refresh all of my sports bras, so this is a great time to do just that!

- Amazon Sporting Goods
To cover the rest of your fitness routine products like yoga mats or a new set of weights, Amazon Sporting Goods department is also participating in the contribution! - SABRE Pepper Spray
You can never forget about your safety. Especially now that it’s getting darker earlier, I always suggest you carry a SABRE pink pepper spray in your bag whether you’re outside for a run or walking to a parking garage while shopping.

- evian Water
If you’ve read anything I’ve ever written you will know how important hydration is. Keeping your body hydrated with pure clean water, like evian, not only improves your physical performance but also your mental state! I recommend drinking about half of your body weight in ounces per day for optimal hydration.

- Jamba Juice
If you start running out of energy midway through your workout, it may be because you haven’t fueled properly. Jamba Juice’s whole foods smoothies are a great pre-workout snack to grab and go on the way to the gym. The Amazing Greens and Kale-Ribbean Breeze smoothies pack a powerful green punch for added clean-burning fuel.

- Powerful Yogurt
Post workout snacks should always contain a good source of clean protein. If you are looking to build lean muscle, you may want to consider adding Powerful Yogurt to your fitness routine for a high protein snack that will help rebuild muscle tissue that breaks down naturally during strength training workouts.

- Badia Spices
Fighting inflammation is key to recovery. If you have an active lifestyle you really should consider adding spices that contain anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric is great as well as garlic. Badia Spices is also participating in this NBCF initiative, so stock up now!

- Edible Arrangements
I like to give healthy gifts to people and what’s healthier than an edible fruit bouquet from Edible Arrangements? They are such a pleasant surprise for your sweetheart, employee or personal trainer and unlike flowers they don’t die. You get to eat them instead for a quick burst of energy pre workouts.
- Glo Professional Cosmetics
Most of the work I do on my body comes from the inside out. But, I do like to enhance my natural look with some good makeup AFTER the gym, of course. Glo Professional is a natural beauty line with great makeup and skincare including a tinted moisturizer with SPF to help protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun.
There are plenty of more brands that feature the pink ribbon during the month of October. Look out for it and when given the choice between products choose pink for breast cancer awareness!
